Was fired from Marshall Fields, which turned to Macys, which is partner to Bloomingdales. Can I work there?
-
When I was 17 I was fired from Marshall Fields in chicago because during my probationary period (first 3 months). Marshall Fields later converted to Macys, which is partnered with Bloomingdales. I was told when I was fired that I could not work at Marshall Fields again. With being converted (do files and records remain?) and being a partner company, can I still be hired by Bloomingdales?

Answer:
Was the reason you got fired was because it was being converted or something else?? If it was just because it was being converted than yes, you should be able to apply for a position. If nothing illegal than you may also be fine. Good Luck.
