What do firefighters wear?

Do the Chicago Firefighters wear bunker pants?

If you check the picture (I will paste the link below) you can see that the firefighters are wearing just normal pants, or the pants of their station uniform. Chicago changed over to bunker pants from 3/4 boots a few years ago. The ball started rolling after the Cook County Administration Building in 2003. There were many burned crotches and lawsuits filed for that because the boots and coat obviously don't cover that area. Chicago had always been resistant using the argument that it took too long to put the bunkers on. The city didn't buy it when FDNY was used as an example.
