How much should I charge for home daycare in Chicago area?
-
I babysit a 21 month old boy who lives down the street. His parents provide his diapers, wipes, equipment needs (pack & play, booster) and extra clothing. I provide one meal and two snacks, outing costs (i.e. zoo, lunch out once in a while, etc.). I watch him from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. What is an acceptable rate? I'm beginning to feel I am under-charging. Thanks!

My sister in law has a home daycare and she does what you do and charges $150.00 per week for kids in diapers... and the parents provide the diapers!! Less for kids that are potty trained! She lives in Joliet, Illinois
