What is an open call usually like?

What's the, (The Amazing Race open call) that's being held this month on Aug 28th in Tewksbury, MA for?

• I'm looking for more information on an open call for CBS’s reality show, “The Amazing Race”. CBS’s website states that there’s an open call taking place at the, "Ninety Nine Restaurant" located at: 401 Main Street Tewksbury, MA 01876 on Saturday, August 28th from 7:00am-10:00am but doesn’t give any more information than that. So I called the Ninety Nine Restaurant, (which is the location of the OPEN CALL) and they have no information other than its being held at their restaurant. Does anyone know if this is for the 2010 season because the application deadline for the 2010 season has already pasted. Applications were due by (Thursday February 4th 2010) and the show air's this September. So I guess my question is, "On the 28th of this month, (Aug) in Tewksbury, MA what's the open call for?” Does anyone know who's hosting the open call at the restaurant? Like a radio station or business. Thanks for helping

  I saw that too and I assume that it is for the season after the next one that airs starting on September 26th.
