What's your opinion on Staffing Agencies? Do they really work?

Any Staffing Groups in particular that are really good at finding work for people that have back injuries, people that don't feel comfortable with a phone or customer service?
Answer:

Staffing agancies are fancy term for TEMP. most of the time you are filling in for someoenes vacation day or sick ime and rarely permanantly hired. I would avoid it unless desperate for money to pay overdue bills

I LOVE them. The last few jobs that I've had I've gotten through temp or staffing agencies. I also found that i got paid more if I went through an agency. Not sure why, though.
