How to get a Job at a Call center in Atlanta?

• I'm wanting to work at a callcenter anywhere in the atlanta area, but i have no idea where to begin. The buildings that they are in are very unremarkable from the streets so I would have no idea I was driving past one to even walk in and ask for a job. Also. to my knowledge many call centers have names that dont give you any type of clue that it actually is a call center..(like AFNI) so i cant exactly look in the phone book. Online, wanted ads like craigslist seem scammy, I cant really tell if theyre real or not cuz theres never a business name and the description is always vague. Are there any sites that would help? Ideas?

  Get a print copy of the Atlanta Journal Constitution and check out the help wanted ads. It's more up date than their website. Look for ads starting with C for call center and customer service and also ads starting with T as in telephone, telemarketing, telesales. Call the places and see if the job is one you want to go apply for. Go to http://www.switchboard.com and look up telemarketing companies pretty much all of which have call centers. Call and see if they are hiring and what the job would be. Check with any branch of a major bank and ask if they have a call center in metro Atlanta. Many do. Check in the phone book for employment services, temporary and call and ask which provide workers to call centers. Remember that since this is a call center the first impression you make on the phone is very important. In your resume be sure to mention any work you did that involved sales or customer service, handling incoming calls or making calls for the company.
