What are some good jobs in the Woodstock Ga or Atlanta Ga area?

• need help finding good jobs around the Woodstock Ga or Atlanta Ga area for my husband and I if anyone has any good suggestions please help, we are desperately trying to move to Georgia from Nebraska to be closer to family but haven't been able to find any work for months.

  Jess, Mott gave you good, solid advice. So many skilled, talented people I know are unemployed in Georgia. However .... if you're trained in the right field, you could find a job. If you have medical experience -- lpn, medical assistant, even receptionist -- you should be able to find work. If you were an engineer you'd find employment. Assuming that you're not and you're determined to live here, search the web for major employers in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. Look at the job board at Kennesaw State University. There are always things posted. Pull up hospital sites: perhaps there are clerical or custodial jobs that you can do. (Kennestone Hospital isn't far from Woodstock.) At the very least, check out day care centers when you get here; there's generally a lot of turnover and you should be able to find a job -- but it probably won't pay enough to sustain you.
