Can i find a legal secretary job in atlanta?

• i want to relocate to atlanta but need a job first. i'm a legal secretary, 9 years experience & EXCELLENT skills. i have excellent reference letters & excellent references. but my resume is a bit "jumpy" bcz i had jobs in NY that were always laying off people & making staff cuts. i was always one of the first to go. would it be hard for me to find a job as a legal secretary in atlanta? can anyone give me advice/suggestions? i'm trying to relocate asap. i am SO sick of new york city. thanx in advance

  The best recommendation I can give you, is to research all the legal firms in the entire metro-Atlanta area...and that's more cities than you might imagine. The metro area is roughly a radius about 25 miles out in all directions from downtown Atlanta...check it out on a map. Then look for that attorneys that specialized in the same fields as the ones you worked for in NYC, that might give you an edge. Once you have that, flood the market with your resumes...make sure you check out some local networking organizations that can advise you on your resume for best results.
