There are fewer jobs for young teens now because there are fewer jobs in general and therefore more competition from experienced workers. Some groceries hire at 14 so do some sales on telephone places, some eating places hire at least for table clearing. Some skating and other amusement places hire 14 yr olds. Ask your friends where they work. Ask your parent's and their friends about job openings they might know about
