Should i apply for jobs now before relocating?

I plan on relocating to Atlanta,GA in July when should i start applying for jobs?

Single mom buying first house in atlanta in need of a good paying job at least what i'm making now . Hopeful as a adminstrative assistant , customer service, or clerical position in a hospital.

    I think you should be doing your job search from now. It could take anywhere from 3-6 months to land a job. As a resource you should start a network on LinkedIn.com. 6 months ahead is not too soon. Some places, of course, want you immediately but especially in the medical field advance planning is very useful. The place that you may run into a problem however is if your current employer does not know of your relocation plans. That would make checking references awkward. Do you have any flexibility at all in your time schedule or savings to support yourself a while if your employer gets wind of your plans and does a "you want to go so go now"?
