What are some good jobs in Atlanta?

Where are the good jobs at in atlanta? I'm a hard worker and make pennys a day. Is it really all who you know?

  • I work over 50 hours a week and now I’m on a 14 day all work week. Its like I’m killing my self for pennies a day. Sad to say I have a bachelor degree and still can't find a good paying job. I'm not from here and still can over come all the bills per month. I look in the ajc, monster.con, and all the other job searches. All I can come up with is the fake work from home crap. Where are the Jobs, and where can I sign up at. I want to live big, and have a BMW.

  • Answer:

If you want to live big you cant do it working for someone else. You will have to learn a trade and work hard to make a business work. Take what your good at and apply it in a way no one else can. There is no pie in the sky and get rich quick schemes out there in Atlanta or any other city.

Hi Mary Jane, Have you ever considered moving out of State or even abroad? If you can't find a suitable job in your area, maybe you could consider a move? For example, in Europe the working hours are a lot less than in the States and the pay a lot higher. In Ireland, most people work about 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day) and we have one of the longest working days in Europe. Everybody is entitled to at least 20 work days off a year, giving plenty of time for travel or relaxing. What type of work do you do? The other option may be to change your field of employment. I don't think it's all about who you know, but about picking the right opportunities, not being afraid to try something new and aiming high. Good luck with finding a new job. If you are in IT and would consider a move to Europe, drop me an email! Lynda on behalf of Vantage.

it wasent always like this it used to be if you had a H.S. diploma you could get a decent paying job to buy a hose support a family where mom could stay home have a pension with healthcare, NOW even if you have a college degree buying a house sticks you w/ a 60 year mortgage, both parents have to work, family insurance costs 500$ a month a good quality living is not affordable by the standards that are being forced fed by all the TV commercials and hollywood types

I feel your pain. I too initially work three jobs in Atlanta seven days per week. I was killing myself, literally! You are right, You have to hanging with the "in Crowd" to get a real break or have a specialty degree such as MD, MBA PhD etc. to make the real green. Most people in the Metro area start their on business ventures to make extra money and eventually do their thing full time. I still work full time but I recently started doing independent marketing for a tele communication company for extra cash. It is awesome! i project that in the next 3 months, I will quick my full time gig and only do this business. If you are interested in learning more, I can help. Check out my website http://5linx.net/tracee or email me at [email protected]. ps this company gives you a 750 BMWs once you've reached you targeted goal. Go figure! most of my colleagues reached their targeted goal in less than one year. Hope this helps in your quest for financial security and peace of mind. Good Luck!
