A couple of good places are American Classifieds which has both print and net versions and is cheap to advertise in and if you are in NE suburbs www.accessnorthga.com which is free and works well for us. You can also put up ads and flyers on store and shopping center bulletin bds in the areas where you want to work. Since the word farm is in your question I'm guessing you are in a rural area perhaps and if so some of the local county stations have a swap shop that also offers free ads. Check the yellow pages and see what stations are near you and call and ask. Many of the counties have their own weekly papers which are a lot less expensive and more targeted than the Atlanta Journal Constitution which can cost a lot for ads. You might also see if you can drop off flyers or business cards you make yourself at lunch oriented eating places in your target area advertising that you will do what a working mom or working couple may be too busy to get done. You can get business card paper with free templates at Office Depot, Office Max and some WallMarts (and occasionally at large grocery chain stores) and make cards yourself for little money. If you are epecifically seeking to help on a farm try Farmers and Cionsumers Bulletin for Free Ads it's put out by GA dept of Agriculture and also hang your signs at feed stores.

Your best bet is: http://atlanta.craigslist.org - post under services (best of all, its free!) If its allowed, you can also leave flyers door to door in your subdivision (my mom hired someone that way). Look for community bulletin boards at stores, churches, etc and post a announcement there. Word of mouth helps so talk to people about what you do, there are always people who need help. Good luck!

In the Atlanta area, I'd try the AJC want ads. Reaches a lot of readers...

blamb!

Local churches in your area, safest - also Child care facilities need helpers, cleaners, cooks, etc.

I have a homebased business, that is working out great! I am not near you, but that doesn't really matter...e-mail me if your interested. [email protected]

The newspaper would be your best bet. Some communities have websites that you could post on online. You could advertise in the phone book, put up flyers in grocery stores, laundromats, etc., or spread your services by word of mouth.

craigslist or kaboo.com

dsggirl_atl

usually places like local stores, Laundromats, community centers or even the local news paper be careful if you decide to post flyers like the girl above said - alot of places its banned and you can get in trouble for solicitation

the supermarkets, delis, nursing homes and hospitals.
