Black mould is the most dangerous but all moulds are bad. If you have mould on the surface of your wall you can bet it is behind it as well. Get an expert to look at it but if you cannot afford one and plan on doing it yourself use a proper respirator with goggles, gloves and coveralls. Bag and seal all waste materials and wash areas that have not been removed with a bleach mixture until they are clean. Allow to dry before closing up the wall. Bleach is one of the few things that will kill mould. Mould is a sign of improper ventilation and possibly improper insulation and vapour barrier problems. It results from excessive moisture vapour entering a home and not being able to escape. Find a local person to help asap as it can cause allergies, Asama and other illnesses.

There are dozens of sprays on the market. If your house has mold all thru it , on and in the walls in the insulation , in the attic and in the basement then Call a pro. If its just on the sills of your windows you can take care of the problem yourself. If its just in a bathroom you can take care of it your self. If its just in your laundry room you can take care of it. Tilex makes some very good products for this. Yes if mold is over running you call a pro . Otherwise save your money and do the same thing we do , clean with a strong bleach water solution or a mold removal spray on sale even at Wall mart. We are professional property managers. Yes!! It is very dangerous! It can make you and your kids very sick. It can spread alot especially if there is still a source of water leaking that is causing it. It is very toxic and people who professionally remove it wear special clothing and breathing masks. You really shouldn't even be living there. Hope this helps.
