Looking for a way to advertise my forum without paying?

Does anyone know of a of a good website or other forum where homes "for sale by owner" can be listed?

  • I'm trying to sell my home in Massachusetts. I'm looking for as many ways as possible to advertise it without involving a realtor. If anyone knows the best and least expensive way to accomplish this, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

It's never a good idea to sell by owner, especially in this market. You'll net with more money even after the commission, if you spend time finding the right Realtor. FSBO.com is good and the reference to Craigslist.com is also excellent. My experience is that you may not see much action and in the end results will be brought about by pricing and marketing. You may also may want to consider offering a fee to local agents who could bring you a buyer. This would discount the fee in the 50% range as an example offer 3% to the sales office. Be prepared to complete all required forms, disclosures etc, in many states you will not be exempt. What type of market is occuring in your community? Sellers/buyers market this will help you in your marketing plan. Best to you.
