How do I get rid of the spiders in my room?

  • Hello. Usually I don't ask questions on Yahoo! Answers but, in all honesty, spiders freak me the **** out. In short, I sleep in the basement of our home, that's where my room is. There have always been a lot of spiders and I really hate it. I can deal with two or three spiders every now and then, but I hate lifting up my rug or my mattress to see nests built by these *******. Are there any effective ways to kill spiders? Products and whatnot? I know they kill other bugs and such but I live in the suburbs, there's not much to worry about here, regarding bugs. I'm deathly afraid of spiders. I literally cry whenever I see one. I know this is a really dumb question but I didn't know what else to do. So..

Toss 2 or 3 hand grenades in there and close the door. That should pretty much take care of most of them,but go in with a AK47 afterwards to make sure.

Put water inside a wet vacuum and add a bit of laundry detergent. Then vacuum all nooks and crannies, the mattress (all sides), especially the underside of the bed and other furniture. Don't forget the ceiling corners. To prevent re-infestation, make sure all your windows are well-sealed, and put a weather seal in the gap between the door's bottom and the floor.

get an exterminator or by bug spray ASAP. clean your room completely and when I say clean I mean take all of your clothing and put it in bags and wash all of your clothes even if they are clean. Lift your matress or remove it and put it away somewhere and just wash it if you can or just shake it to throw all that dirt from the matress away, clean the lower side of the bed, wash your sheets, curtains. look under your bed for dirt, dust your room check your windows for holes and cover them up with anything as long as it covers it it doesnt matter. Avoid eating in your room that cause bugs to be attracted to the area. Mop the floor sweep it and just make it clean!!!!!! super clean I guarantee you it will feel clean and bugs will not be so attracted to it, roaches and mice could also be in yourt room so this will benefit you. My room is fillwed with flies spiders and mosquitos, when I clean my entire room things got better, but the biggest impact it made was when I looked for holes in the room, specially the window.
