• After looking up how expensive it is to pay a professional moving company, I've decided to hire my own movers. I know a number of men who have the time and ability to do it, and I trust them with my stuff. I would like to hire two for the big move. I'm moving from a first floor house. All of my things will already be organized and packed, they will just need to be loaded into the truck from the house. I'm already getting a 16' truck, so I won't need to pay them for that. My new place is less than 10 miles away, and it's a 2nd story apartment. My stuff all fits in a one-bedroom apartment. How much should I pay each person I hire? I'm intending on paying in cash.
