What mattress keeps you the coolest?

How do i keep my bed sheet on my new mattress? it keeps slipping off way to easy?

  • Answer:

Isn't that annoying!? First, make sure your sheets are the right size for your mattress. Our newest mattress is over a foot deep, so we obviously had to buy new sheets to fit it - but we still had the problem with the deep sheets. We have some elastic fasteners we put on the corners of the fitted bottom sheet underneath the mattress. They're purpose made, and look very much like the straps you might find on a garter belt, only they have the hook fasteners on each end. I don't know where we got them, but they're worth finding and using if you are as annoyed by the bedsheets coming off the bed as I am. OK - a quick look found them ... they're called "sheet straps" ... I found several online stores offering them - just do a google search. Good luck!

Bed Bath & Beyond has clips that attach your bed sheet to your mattress. They are like $4 for 4 and you can use them forever.

I had the same problem and found these clips made specifically to keep the sheet on. I found them at Bed, Bath & Beyond but I bet there at any home store

Wal Mart sells elastic bands with clips on each end that secures your fitted sheet to each corner of your mattress. I use them on my deep pocket bed with not-so-deep pocket sheets.

check the size of your bed and the size of your sheets make sure they are the same size and then tuck all of your covers in tightly.

If it's a newer mattress, you may need new sheets. Old sheets are built for mattresses that aren't as thick. Same problem happened to us. New sheets did the trick.

If you can sew, add some elastic strips to the corners to make it a fitted sheet.

Allow me to cite the Third Law of Problem Solving: There are two tools in the world: duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't, use the duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD40.

Try putting a mattress pad under it. :) Hope that helps!
