How do I get rid of house mice?

  • I am so embarrassed to ask this but I need some help and tips. I live in an apartment with my mom and brother and we are having some problems getting rid of mice; We been having this problem since Christmas. I have tried everything from traps,plug in pest repellent and peppermint oil none seems to be getting rid of them. We try looking for holes in the wall or around the walls but it seems that they keep finding a way to get in our apartment.It's a lot worse in the kitchen they are all on the table. I can hear them in boxes that we stored our can goods. It's driving me crazy that I am too scared to cook in the kitchen. I am so frustrated; No one wants to help us so I am on here asking for help hopefully I can. What can I do to get rid of these pests ?

    Mice traps are good. But try keep the area clean. Use germ free chemicals on your floor.

Well, mouse traps and bait are still your best bet. But if you don't have any of that, you can make a mix of 2/3 baking soda and 1/3 flour. Set the mix out and hope they eat it. Make sure to give them a good amount, a few tablespoons. The baking soda will explode their stomachs. Messy but effective, and very inexpensive. Cheers.

get some mouse poison...D- Con etc. If you find they're not eating a lot of it, Melt some peanut butter in the microwave and stir it in with the pellets. Use paper plates and Something like a Popsicle stick to stir so you can throw away. give it a week or so and you'll see a big difference. D-CON ! It only takes about 15 seconds to melt a couple of tablespoonfuls of PB. Put out about 3 plates in places you know they are. Be patient, they'll be gone In a couple of weeks............Make sure your family pets can't get at this.!!!! Good luck!
