Why are there seeds in seedless watermelons?

How do you get the seeds to grow seedless watermelons? Where do the seeds come from if they are seedless?

  • Watermelons grow from seeds that are planted I frequently grow them myself. But where do seeds come from for the seedless varietys? Please Help!

  • Answer:

Seedless watermelons are not completley seedless! They still have some seeds, just less than a normal watermellon. Just go buy one at your grocery store. Save one of the few seeds and dry it out. You should be able to plant it next year.

Seeds for seedless watermelons come from the same farm where they raise boneless chickens. The watermelons have little seeds and very soft but the chickens have NO bones, you should see that!
