Can you hydroponically grow pitayas?

What plants can I grow on a small pot?

  • I've got a relatively small pot, three of them. In one, I'm growing Goto Cola plant and the other Ashitaba. The other pot, I've got two developing garlic bulbs and a mysterious plant my grandmother asked me to grow but I want to grow more plants. What plants can I grow that are small, and won't take up too much space. I've wanted to plant tomatoes, but they need a bigger space, right? Anyway, I don't mind if it'll take long to grow, I just want to grow something. :)) Thanks! Oh and as much as possible, not the complex ones, but simple plants like garlic or onion. And one last question, can I grow flowers in those pots? Like buy a flower from a flower shop and just plant it, will it grow? Thanks! :)

  • Answer:

Well, bonzi trees are extremely small. But probably too small for u. I ur looking for a decorative house plant, I'd go witha cactus or pansies. Also, if u want something that gives u food, I'd grow it rosemary or u could possibly start a tomato plant, then transplant it to outside when it got nicer. Good luck!

African Violets. They do need lots of light and must be watered from the bottom. Push a cotton string or thin strip of pantyhose up into the plant and feed into a container of water. I use small deli containers filled with water with two holes in the lid for the "wick" and watering.
