How do we get rid of bed bugs in our car and house?

  • Our house is infested with bed bugs and they're eating us alive my mom put DE (diatomaceous earth) down everywhere and they stopped biting us be they're in our clothes and we have like seven matress covers on my mom's mattress an they're still coming through. We moved and the bugs got in our car and my mom is worried that the bugs will get out of the car and infest the neighbors. We are a single income household and my mom is running out of money to buy food and stuff. We threw away most of our stuff. I'm scared because my mom is crying a lot and telling us she doesn't know what to do. I told her i would get a job but she said no because she doesn't want us to bring the bugs anywhere else and she doesn't want to use the car. I don't want to be stuck with these things forever. It's making our lives miserable. My mom is not getting sleep and she's in jeopardy of losing her job. Please help! I'm scared and I don't know what to do.

    Washing and drying the clothes and everything and sealing them up in plastic trash bags will protect the clothes. Putting rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and spraying the bugs you see will kill them. The car can be vacuumed real good a lot. Bed bugs can go a year without eating. I have been reading about bed bugs.

Close the car up and park it in the sun. When the inside temperature reaches 140 degrees the bed bugs will die. The same with your furniture and clothes. You need to put them in the trunk of the car and let it get hot enough to kill the bugs.
