White fuzz on growing strawberries?
-
I'm growing strawberries in a pot, and I've noticed that on one side of the pot the strawberries have a very fine white fuzz on them when they get ripe. I barely have time to let them get ripe enough to eat before this white stuff develops. Is this mold? If so, why?? Strawberries on the other side of the pot are fine. Puzzled...

Its fungus, starting to grow. Why is it on that side of the pot? It has to start somewhere. Yes you can salvage the ones on the other side which do not have the white stuff on them. You can eat them. Not advisable to eat the ones with the white fungus on them
