Which one is easier to grow, a Mango tree, or a lemon tree?

I've tried growing both; however, they both died. My mango grew healthy until it was about 4 inches tall, then it died. I tried growing a Lemon plant. It grew to 5 inches with three healthy leaves, then it began to die no matter what I did. Maybe I just don't have a green thumb haha, but I want to try growing one of them again, and would like to know if one is easier to grow than the other. I doubt one is easier to grow than the other, but thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks for reading =)

Lemon tree is mch easier do not water it only when is VERY dry. Mangos are very hard to grow in the U.S, with maybe florida as an exception.
