What should i do this summer holidays?

  • iv got 5 weeks holiday left and was wondering what to do. Im quite arty but prefer designing and making objects rather than painting/drawing pictures. I will be doing a little bit with friends and family but will have alot of spare time and i need something to ocupy me. i was thinking about making something like bunting but i need a bigger project to work on because the bunting will only take up like half a day. please help me. also if you have any ideas what i could do with my friends would be useful and by the way im a 13year old girl.

    Do you have a wall in your bedroom which you could decorate? Or you could re-design your bedroom? I'm 14 years old and i when i hang out with friends i go out for meals, go to the theatre, to the cinema, swimming, to the beach, to the local town, sleepovers, camping, just anything like that basically. I don't know what you and your friends like, but i hoped these suggestions helped a little.

Go to a hobby shop and buy boat models to build. My husband built a sailing ship that is about two feet long and tall. It took several weeks to build and varnish. It's beautiful. They come in kits with everything you need inside. Hobby shops have wonderful things to buy to build and or paint. How about a Charles Dickens' Christmas village to paint. This will take up a lot of time and will be so pretty for Christmas decorations. You can also buy kits for Thanksgiving. Some hobby shops have classes from learning how to cross stitch pictures, knit, art, clay, etc. Large jigsaw puzzles can be put together by yourself or with friends.
