Would Vitamin Water and vitamin pills make you do any better on running the school's mile?

Does running the dishwasher make a significant difference in the monthly water bill?

  • I prefer to not run the dishwasher often; I maybe run it once a month, in an effort to keep water and energy costs down. My new roommates want to run it more often (and I do understand that the dishwasher gets everything more clean and disinfects better). Do you think running it once a week would increase the water bill significantly? My old roommate claimed that it doesn't make a difference at all, and told me that it's less expensive than me using my hair straightener, but I think he was making excuses so he could be lazy and not actually wash his dishes. Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Answer:

Actually your roommates are right. Using the dishwasher actually uses LESS water than hand-washing them according to the websites I've seen!
