No. it has too low a rate of evaporation; it is a close cousin of kerosene and will be nearly impossible to light with the small sparks from a Zippo. You need a thin fluid that evaporates easily and ignites quickly.

Not recommended, too low of flash point because it is meant to be ignited with a match not a flint. If your looking for a cheaper way out of using lighter fluid, you can use coleman camp stove fluid. Transferring it to smaller manageable container of course.
