Can I return minimal used roof cement to Home Depot?
-
So! I bought a gallon of roof cement. But then when I actually used it, I only used about 1% or so of the gallon (doofus, I know). Anyway, will Home Depot accept returns of partially (if not minimal) used roof cement? If not, does roof cement expires? Like does it harden over time if left unused?

Answer:
No, you can't return stuff that has been used. I've had roof cement that lasted years, with the lid tightly sealed.

It depends on how dumb the person at the returns desk is :-) I'd give the rest to a friend who needs some. It lasts for years if kept sealed so consider it an investment and store it with the half empty cans of paint :-)
