Who can paint a wall mural in the Chicago area?

How do I fix my wall?

  • For about 6 years, maybe more (I don't know but at least 3 years), there was this mini-basketball hoop that was taped to my wall. It wasn't any normal skotch tape or anything, but wider and stickier that came with it. Well, it fell down today and I the wall paint (I think) was ripped off. I'm not sure if it's just the wall paint or anything more. To be more specific, I see this brown layer. There are two small strips, totaling in less than 5 in sq. How can I fix this? Do I need to paint over the stripped area or the whole wall? Is there some special material that I can apply? I would like to avoid painting the whole wall, because I'm just a teen who doesn't want to tell his parents .......-_- The wall is white-colored.

  • Answer:

You should purchase some spackling paste and spackling knife. Put some spackle on the edge of the knife and spread it over the strips smoothly so that there is not extra on the wall just in the strips. Then wait until it is dry and lightly sand the area with 120 grit sand paper. If the strips are still noticeable, you will need to paint the wall so your parents will not see the difference.
