  • I really really need help. I have no idea what to do. I know I know some of you would ask me. Why did I buy the house..good question. I couldn't live in an apartment with all these people. There was too noisy, I get freak out when I never see them before. There are too many stairs. I can't barely walk up the steps when I do I get a headache, my heart racing fast. Lastly i don't trust them. Anyway I bought a house is because it peaceful. I do not have to deal with them. I like being alone and sorta quiet. So while I was looking at this particular house it was perfect. It not too big nor small. I didn't want a big house. I do not care for a big house. That is me personally. I told the real estate to have the trees remove. They said they will do it. I'll explain to them what the reason why to have the tree removed. The reason is in my old place I left the bathroom within 10min ( left for work) The tree fell through my window where the toilet located. Amazingly neither one of us didn't get killed. I cried everyday that we didn't gt hurt. thank god. Now that I have a new house and the tree is still there. They told me ( sellers) it will removed. Now I was tricked buying that house. I have no money to get rid of the tree. I hardly ever sleep because of the tree. I refused to go my backyard because the tree is there. I felt like the tree is coming after me. I want to have a nice patio bbq family gathering in my new backyard but I couldn't because the tree. I want to have a gate to keep the tree coming in. I m not delusional but it true that tree can fall. Don't get me wrong I do like tree but not a huge tree. I just don;t have the money to cut the tree and fix the backyard. I paid toll everyday and travel at least 31 miles everyday. I hardly buy clothes for my son, buy food for them because of the toll, gas eating our money. Job won;t give us raise, I am trying very hard to save money to get rid of the tree and have a nice backyard set up but couldn't. I don;t make that much money. I want to get another job working in minimum wage. That would be too hard for me. My lower back wouldn't allowed me to stand up my two feet. I want to work in Walmart, Family Dollars. I tried to win a lottery on HGTV if they can help us. It been a long time. It was not fair that there is millionaire and billionaire make so much money and buy huge mansion. I get so jealous but hey life goes on. I wish there is someone out there that can help me. I really need help. I am so afraid the tree will fall on us. I am so scared,. By the way whoever read this, excuse my grammar, I am not that good. I have a hearing disability. thanks

  • Answer:

I think you’re being unreasonable. Unless the tree is not healthy or leaning then it is an asset. If there are limbs that could fall on your roof then they should be pared back. If you’re lucky, the tree will be close to some power lines in which case the utility company will trim them for you for free. If the sellers told you (in the contract) that they would remove or trim the tree then must do so or be in breach of contract. If it was just a verbal agreement then they have no obligation to do it. You could call them and try to play on their sympathies but given the cost of removing a large tree I doubt they would. I have a feeling your fears are un-rational. Large trees are beautiful and add to the value of a home, they provide shade which will lower you’re a/c bill in the summer and provide a great play space for your children. It is highly unlikely that a healthy tree, large or not, is going to fall on your house. I understand your fears given your previous experience but that has to be a 1 in a million fluke. What are the odds that you experience 2 trees crashing into your bathroom? Bottom line; if the tree is healthy and not hanging over your roof leave it alone and enjoy it. If it’s healthy but needs a trim get it done, hopefully through your contract but if not find a couple neighbor boys or a local handyman to trim them for you. If the tree is healthy and not very close to your house then I would suggest talking to a Dr. Seriously, unreasonable fears are common and easily treated. The tone of your question leads me to believe that you do, in fact, suffer from irrational fears. If I’m out of line I apologize. Just trying to help. God bless.

Try saving a dollar a day then in one year youll have some cash to take it down. try asking failmy or freinds to pitch in in the savings.
