What is the best way to clean a leather wallet?

How do I soften my leather wallet?

• I had my wallet in my son's diaper bag and his bottle leaked all over it!!! All I did was wet a cloth and wipe it all down and now it is so stiff. I did this about five months ago and I thought it would soften a but and it has not. Have I ruined it? I just want it to feel soft again. Th style of this wallet is a mans bi-folding suit jacket wallet ...lol I hope that makes sense. I will post a link below of something similar. The only difference with the wallet that I posted and mine is that mine does not have those bumps on the outside of it (on the leather) - mine is smooth.   Go to a sporting goods store, and get the oil that people use to soften baseball gloves. Back when I rode my dinosaur to school :-) there was a product called Neetsfoot Oil. If you are in an area where people ride horses, saddle soap works well.
