There are two ways you may be able to do this. #1 use needle- nose pliers to grip and turn the screw until it is removed; if this does not work try #2 take a nail, place it on top of screw and hammer nail to see if you can force the screw out that way..personally, I would try #1 first. Good luck...

at first i was going to suggest some vice grip pliers instead of needlenose due to the fact that you can tighten them as tight as you need them, but if that doesnt work, your local loews or home depot have something you can use especially for that, but i cant think of the name at this time, sorry. just tell them and they should know what you are talking about.

If plyers do not work. File or grind the screw off. Drill a new hole in its place. Buy a threading kit. Re thread the new hole.

You need a very, very strong magnet. Try magnatizing your vise grips first.

You could get your drill out, and put a small bit in it, and start drilling into the screw. When you have it in an inch, or so, reverse the drill, and take the bit out. Then get a self tapping screw, and screw it in a little ways, then try and grab it with your pliers, and try and pull it out..
