Real fire fighters - want to know about ur life....?

• what is the day to day life of a fire fighter.. what are the various rules and laws they work with.. any real fire fighter there... how do you approach fire scenario... how soon are you suppose to arrive at the location...and what is your first step after you arrive..what will be your target.. kindly advise

  a fireman's job is highly glorified. there is a captain on every fire telling the workers what to do. they are 1st supposed to contain, then extinguish. many times they let a bldg burn itself out if other property is not in danger. you get there when you get there. first thing is to find hydrants and hook up to them. most of the time they sleep or exercise. lucky to see 2 fires a month.
