Are there any grants to help make an Edinburgh home more energy efficient?

It's a victorian upper flat. Heat sails merrily out of everywhere. Lots could be done, but it's going to cost. Any suggestions?

Don't know about actual grants as such, but there is a reduction of VAT on certain items which save energy, like thermostats and controls, I think its only 5% instead of 17.5%. Every little helps. contact the energy trust also Scottish Power can do some stuff for you too. Also your gas supplier might help. You can get subsidised loft insulation and draught excluders. Also the old trick of clingfilm over the windows in the winter helps too. That's the problem with Edinburgh tenements they are all large draughty places it just takes time to block off all the nooks and crannies
