Gas Furnace Makes a Boom Sound?
-
3 year old York gas furnace makes a loud boom sound just before the end of a heating cycle. This furnace controls two zones with dampers. The boom seems to happen just before the unit purges and opens all dampers. It is not ductwork expanding or contracting. What is causing this?

Answer:
York has a group of people on staff and an 800 number for just this purpose to help people like their equipment, give them a call.
