Twin size bed, but a queen size duvet cover only. Any tips/ tutorials on the alterations and sewing?
-
I am in love with this duvet cover, but it only comes in a queen size. I don't want to cut off a lot of important colorful material. http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=20704342&color=000&color=000&itemdescription=true&navAction=jump&search=true&isProduct=true&parentid=SEARCH+RESULTS

Answer:
Use it like a bedspread instead, if it doesn't quite reach the floor use a valance.

Ohmygosh! It's so cute! If you don't end up just getting a queen sized bedspread and using it as an oversized comforter (which would totally work, and I've done), what if you use some of the leftover fabric from where you cut it down to make pillows? Or in a window treatment? There are lots of possibilities! Have fun! :)
