How do you get water out of your phone?

How should i get the water from underneath a cell phone screen out?

• Okay so I have no idea how it happened with my friends phone actually, not mine, i think he took it in to the bathroom with him and the humidity caused the water to seep inside the screen or something. NO IDEA. But anyway, it turns on but the problem is, the screen is just white, with water under it. Does anyone know how to fix it? I mean, im trying the rice trick and submerging it under rice to dry it up. But anything else? And does anyone know if the screen would work afterwards or no? just need some advice on what to do.

  Hi, According to the experts at P.C. Magazine, the Best and ONLY WAY to get moisture out of you hand-held devices is to remove the battery as soon as possible, and then put the device and battery into a SEALED container (zip-lock bag or Tupperware type) containing uncooked rice. Move the items around in the container gently every now-and-then to move the drier rice close to the wet items/areas. This should be done for a period of AT LEAST 2 DAYS to capture the moisture.
