How to promte the "Water Dispenser?

The ge water dispenser's hot and cold doesn't work?

• the ge water dispenser's heat works. the heated water works like usual. it's light starts that means it heats up then it turns off. the cold water's light doesn't work and the water. the cold water switch on the back has to be turned on in order to work the water and light. even if we turn the switch it would would not make the water cold. the dispenser is 4 years old.

  Sounds like you may need a new thermostat. If you have a volt ohm meter you can remove it and check the terminals for continuity
