Should I remove glue from inside PVC pipe to replace flex hose on my spa?
-
I was able to get the flex hose from my spa out of the hard PVC joint with my hair dryer so I can replace the flex hose. However, the glue is still there. Should I try to lightly sand the glue out with my Dremel or is it best to leave the old glue with expectations that the new glue will adhere(melt) to the old glue to seal the flex hose that will be under heat and water pressure? Obviously sanding will "scuff" slightly so I'm not sure which will work best?! Thanks!

Answer:
Hey you won best answer , sand the glue out and the scuff will help with the new glue adhere.
