How many trees are cut down in Canada yearly?

My front yard is a dying disaster should I cut all the trees down?

• SOS Yard Crashers,Rock Solid.....I have no way of investing in plants and stuff.I live in Southern California and my front yard is humongous. Like it's the size of four front yards in one and it's so hard to water. When I moved in it looled like they had some landscape going on but not much. There is no grass, just dirt and sort of dead trees.The trees don't look like they are surviiving this climate though I do water them frequently. The only trees that look good are some peppertrees and some eucalyptus trees. There is a tiny almond tree that if it could talk would be saying, "Please just cut me down, this is too much for me" SOCAL I know you know what I mean.It is so hot and dry here that my hair dries in 5 minutes after I walk outside.I want it to look clean and nice even if it's just dirt, but then what do I do about those trees.There is approximately 6,000 sq. feet of front yard. And the trees seem to distract from it's ugliness even though they are ugly too.
