How much does chain link fencing cost?

How effective is brushwood fencing panels in covering up chain link fencing? Live in quite a windy place but?

  • would like to cover up the chain link fence cheaply but effectively. Is brushwood a good option or not worth the money? How is it attached and how long does it last etc - not at all green fingered.

  • Answer:

They look nice but wont last very long, if you do use them, tie them in with garden plastic coated wire. You could always plant a few climbers to cover the fence up,if you go to your local garden centre you could get some fast growers for little cost. Clematis tangutica, Russian vine, jasmine, and clematis Montana are just a few fast growers that would cover tour fence in no time. Good luck. Professional Gardner.

I have just put up brushwood panels. My neighbour has a fence of overlapping wooden planks that is falling apart so I have attached wire fencing between the existing posts and covered in brushwood. It doesn't cost that much and I attached it to the wooden bits with U shape pins and to the wire fencing with galvanized wire. It looks really nice but is a bit see through on the bits where there is no wooden fencing behind.
