    You could plan on being pretty well off by the time you retire if you learn how to start saving your money early, don't buy things on credit, don't overspend, etc. live frugal for now. it works everytime.

You start by improving your communication skills. Your spelling and grammar are horrid. Stop using texting and slang abbreviations and get in the habit of always writing clearly. I don't care if you say you are an honor student, the way you write makes you seem ignorant. There is no magic bullet to assure personal wealth other than inheriting it from your family or marrying someone with money. It used to be that people could get an advanced degree in medicine or law or work hard in real estate or banking but those fields have become very unprofitable due to the corporatizing of health care, the glut of lawyers in the market and the crash of the real estate and investment markets. There is a huge financial crisis worldwide right now -- you would know that if you paid attention to the news. Business and real estate are in deep trouble. The opportunities for amassing large amounts of money for ordinary people are slim to none. Getting a four year college degree in any field will not guarantee you a high-paying job either. You should get at least a college degree if you can though because otherwise you will have a tough time finding any job that pays more than median wage. If there was a guaranteed way to get rich, don't you think most people would follow that path? Mostly it is luck, talent, brains, timing and extremely hard work, plus having good connections. Tip: people who have made themselves rich don't have time to post to Yahoo Answers.
