How To Sprout Seeds?

How long will marijuana seeds take to sprout?

  • before you go and get this question deleted, you should know that I have a medical marijuana license. I live in Northern California, and it is about 90-105 fahrenheit in the afternoon. I planted the seeds outdoors. how long will it take?

  • Answer:

Mine sprouted in about 7 days. I used miracle grow potting soil. They are now at 2 - 6 inches. Start your seeds in the house. Transplant when you have a plant (6 or more leafs) instead of a sprout. Use the same procedures as you would with a tomato seedling. Do not fertilize until you have about a dozen leafs and only use a week mix, not full strength. Transplanting should be done after a toughening up, leave the potted plant outside for periods of time. Very tough plant. The better care you do now the better quality plant you end up with.

When I was a teenager (about 40 years ago), some of us grew our little plants. As I remember, they sprouted within a week, no more than 2. I grew it under our palm tree in the backyard in Southern California. Hope you don't need this for anything terribly serious. Take care.

Probably as long as a regular plant... it will be a few weeks before you will be able to use the leaves on the plant... Didn't they teach you how to grow it?!?! Put it somewhere where it will get some sunlight but also shade so the plant doesnt die... I would research growing it on a search you can probably find better info there.
