How long does it take for flowers to wilt?

• i bought flowers tonight and im not giving them to the person until tommorow morning. im afraid the flowers will wilt or die overnight. Should i just put them in water? or in water with the packet they gave me. i don't want to put the water with the packet because what if the person im giving it to needs it later on? or should i do nothing at all? HELLPP.

  You should at least put them in some water or else they're going to look very sad tomorrow. If you want to put some of the packet in, go ahead. Perhaps save half of it for the person who is receiving the flowers, and explain why you used half. But you should definitely give them some water.
