Wasps continually build a nest on my deck chair which becomes hard by morning. How can I stop this problem?

bring the chair in over night? Or perhaps wash it/hose it down?

Spray some poison bug spray around that chair... Keep those wasps out. Perhaps a cover (plastic or canvas) for the chair? They might be able to get under the cover, but if it's too difficult for them, they'll just find a different spot...

I have heard that there are fake plastic wasp nests that you can buy. These will deter real wasps from building nearby. You need to find out what kind of wasps they are. Paper wasps usually do not return to the same site twice. I would try putting something greasy like nivea or vaseline. (cover chair with a towel when you want to sit on it!) I think there are better answers but I don't know them!! Cheers.

Use the brand of raid that works for two weeks after you spray it.

Get some malathion & spray the nest at night. When the wasps are dead, remove the nest.

Yeah I would hose it down then spray it with wasp spray. Try covering it at night with plastic or something. Eventually they will stoop coming around. I had one in my garage and I sprayed it continuously until they the wasp gave up!

You are, I think, talking about a kind of wasp called "Mud Dauber". I grew up with them in the woods of Texas. I live in Hollywood now and just when I started having trouble with my landlady, a Mud Dauber began building her nest inside my screeen door. I considered this a great blessing and compliment that this creature liked my energy enough to build her nest in my space. In Shamanic lore wasps are considered good energy for communal living. I won the case against my landlady and send her blessings and release. Good luck living at peace with your fellow creatures.
