What is the growing season of strawberries?

When is the growing season for strawberries?

  • Answer:

I planted mine in spring and they produced until winter came. There are perrenials that supposedly produce all year, but I think you would need a green house to protect them from frost. If they last for a few years, the plants become like weeds and you get tons of strawberries!

Other answers

Strawberry plants grow all season long. Depending upon where you live, they produce fruits starting in mid to late April in the south, around Memorial Day in the middle part of the country and later as you move northward.
