What do you need to open a private kinder garden?

What are some things I need to take into consideration with starting a small garden?

  • I tilled up a small 6x5 area of our yard yesterday to start a small garden. What kind of plants are good starter plants and don't need alot of care? As soon as I get the hang of things I will try other plants too. When is the best time of year to start a garden? Do you use fertalizer? If so, what kind? Thanks

    Are you talking vegetable garden or flower garden? How much sun does it get each day? And yes...Miracle Gro fertilizer works for either and plants/veggies come out full and lush...can't go wrong with that...does a beautiful job. Depending on where you live, check online to see which zone you live in to see which plants work for your area. There are plants that return every year...and plants that you put in at start of each season (annuals)....this is in regards to flower garden. Does flower garden stand on its own (no wall in back?)...if so, tallest plants in middle, then next level down are medium size, then around the border are the smaller flowering plants. For veggies...there are certain ones that do well when planted together (near each other)...for that info, google would give you greater detail...because we don't know which kind of garden you're talking about.

You should consider whether the plot is sunnny or shady, dry or wet, cold or warm and what plants might be more sucessful there, a mix of herbacious perrenials, hardy annuals and some perrenial shrubs should be about right, it's important to plant things you like too. At the garden centre, there is usuallly planting information what the plants you buy to help you to decide. Make a plan and a diagram before you start, check how big the plants will want to grow too
