Yesterday a car drove through my hedges and fence and landed in my front yard.Has this ever happened too you?

Yes, a car went over my lawn, hit my car parked in the driveway and turned it 180 degrees. When the cops came, one of them said, "Oh, it's George." The driver stole a car the owner had left running and then went on a speeding spree around the neighborhood. No one was hurt, but my lawn was a mess, and my car was a disaster.

If this is a clever metaphore for "getting some", THEN YES!

Wow how scary ' and i am so glad that your ok but i hope they are going to pay for the damages they did to your yard and fence.Where i live these people young and old race up the street in front of my house and i cannot how many dead animals i have to bury weekly.One car driving drunk hit the gas instead of the brakes' and got stuck in the house on the corners basement' and it's still there 1 yr later' as if they move it' the house will tumble.No the lady did not have insurance either' so my neighbor has to eat the damage.

Yes, my neighbor two houses down was unloading her SUV and forgot to put it in park. The SUV rolled backward and ran her over. Then, it did a huge U turn in reverse. It skipped the neighbor's house between us and jumped the curb and crashed through my fence coming within inches of my porch. Thankfully my pets and children were not in the yard when this happened. The woman was treated for minor injuries and is just fine, but she didn't even bother to apologize or offer to replace the fence. Lovely woman.

Oh No!! That never happened to me, but my son had just finished washing his brand new Infinity at the curb of his home, when a drunk driver plowed into it. It was totalled. He had been standing there, but his wife called him into the house for lunch, probably saving his life. He hadn't even shut the front door! I'm sorry for all the damage, but so grateful you were not hurt!

I was the driver of a very similar incident but that was 20 years ago I was learning. The instructure (ex-friend) wasn't a very good at learning people to drive. Another time I crashed landed without any damage next to, well immediately over a floral tribute wreath after a 50-60 mph near ditch aquaplane number.

When I was about 5 and my sis was 7, we were playing in the front yard. Mom came out to get us for lunch, and about 5 mins later a car came through the yard and took out our gaslight. Old guy lost control. Could have been ugly....

Yup, just happened last week to my neighbor. The car across the street was on the hill and it rolled back into my neighbor's house, taking out bushes and then stop under a window. :-)

My neice & her husband had a motel on the far north coast of NSW Australia a few years back and a car ended up in the motel's swimming pool! It was quite a shock at the time.
