Have you any ideas for a masquerade party?

Any ideas for masquerade party decorations?

• I'm having a masquerade party (like the one in Phantom of the Opera) for my sweet sixteen. Its only a month away and I'm completely out of decoration ideas. I am renting a pretty large room at my church so it has a pretty big entrance which I might want to decorate a little. I don't have a huge budget and I'm really good at making things so home-made decoration ideas are welcome. My theme colors are black, white, silver, gold, and red. Any ideas at all would be great.   Make cardboard masks that would cover the eyes only and music note shapes and decorate them with paint, glitter, feathers, etc. Hang them or put double-stick tape behind them and place them around on walls or curtains. Have the soundtrack of Phantom of the Opera playing, when you don't have other music playing. Use a lot of streamers and ballons in your colors. You could also purchase(at a dollar store or Walmart) doll-size costumes that could be around the room. And at the main table that will be constantly watched by someone, have candles...low lighting in the center of the room and brighter lighting around the edges(if possible).
