I have very small bathroom - decorating ideas?

You should always use bright colours in a small room. I've seen small rooms painted darker even a light brown and it made it look ten times smaller. And if you have room put in a rug and shower curtain that are a solid colour because if you go with a patern it looks funky. :)

The very best way to make a small bathroom look bigger is to paint the walls the color of the fixtures (sink, toilet and tub). In your case, it will probably be white or cream. The fixtures will disappear into the wall, making the room feel bigger. So, where to add the color?? Simple, add color and pattern on the window, select an awesome color for the towels, a rug and accessories. Or, paint a color on the ceiling (the fifth wall). Keep the shower curtain simple because that will take up a lot of visual space. Perhaps you have room outside of the bathroom for a small chest to keep things that will not fit in the bathroom. Put your make-up on in the bedroom so the bathroom is not cluttered with that stuff.

get light colour tiles. they will make the room bigger. and paint the walls white with a tint of blue. put shelves/cabinet above the sink and put everything in there. and genearlly use light colours. and add few acessories like a small picture of a beach on the wall. blue beach theme? and yes i would live somewhere else if a bathroom meant that much, if t was just a room to pee in i would stay where i was. xxxxx

Sounds like it's already "cozy" enough. I'd just keep it light and clean and simple...white and aqua or white and celery green. I moved from a home with an enormous bathroom to a small closet one. At first I thought I'd hate it, but now I see that it doesn't really matter and it's alot easier to clean. Storage is still an issue though, so you need to get creative with that. Hang something above your toilet to store makeup and other necessary supplies. I hung one of these inside my shower curtain and no one can see it but me. paint it yellow and have pink fuzy rugs(: that would be adorable, plus yellow makes it look brighter which would make it seem bigger, stick to the lighter colors and if you can you should replace the sink with a new one with drawers(: haha also if my bathroom was toooo small, idk i guess i wouldnt move if i liked the rest of the house

Space-saving is huge. Get an over-the-toilet space saver, mount shelves on the walls where you can, tall and skinny shelving units are PERFECT for space-challanged bathrooms. Look for pedestal sink storage options. Keep everything painted light and airy as it makes the room feel bigger.

for the most part?? rent should be coming down a bit on new houses to get them moving with builders that can't sell them i'd look out for a new place , why spend money on a bathroom that you dont like is tiny and be off benefit in long run to the landlord
