How to clean Cement Tile roof?

How can I create a cement tile?

• I would like to create a backsplash in my kitchen from cement. I thought it woule be more affordable than purchasing tiles from the local hardware store. I would like the cement to be heat resistent (atleast somewhat due to the tile being close to the stove). I would also like to stain the tile and place grout between the pieces (approx. 2x2 or so) If you know the best way to go about doing this or know of a good link please let me know. Thank you.

  It is very hard to make thin concrete items. they tend to crack. Check with ur tile stores in ur area. We can get 12x12 tiles here in oklahoma for around .89 cents apiece. that is very economical.
